Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Food Handler's permit or ServSafe certification as per State requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to relate positively and cooperatively with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, and facility policies.
• Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment, and floors.
• Check trays for menu and diet accuracy and proper storage of food and supplies.
• Work near ovens, stoves, and walk-in refrigerators/freezers in non-temperature controlled areas.
• Ensure food and supplies are available for next meals and assist in inventory.
