Job summary

Intersect Health Care in Michigan is seeking an Afternoon Cook to prepare and serve meals that meet residents' nutritional needs while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. You will work with a compassionate team to deliver excellent food service in our community.

Responsibilities include menu review, timely meal preparation, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen. A six-month cooking/food prep background and a can-do attitude are required to join our caring team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months food preparation and cooking experience.
• A can do/will do attitude to help others.

Responsibilities

• Review menus prior to preparation.
• Able to prepare and ensure service of nutritional meals at the proper times and temperatures, preserving flavor and appearance.
• Ensure that the department is maintained in a clean and safe manner by assuring that necessary equipment and supplies are maintained.
