Job summary

The Wyndmoor of Marion (2) is seeking a compassionate CNA to care for seniors and build trust with residents. You will observe changes, report to the supervising nurse, and assist with daily living activities, following individual care plans.

We welcome self-starters with initiative who can train new staff, maintain policies, keep a safe environment, and communicate professionally. Part-time and full-time second and third shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Must have no finding in the registry concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property.
• Experience with elderly residents is valued.
• Ability to collaborate within a team.
• Passion for working with elderly residents.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse.
• Assist with geriatric care needs.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living according to individual care plans.
• Observe residents and report changes in physical, mental, and emotional condition to nursing staff.
• Communicate in a professional, respectful, and hospitable manner.
• Address inquiries and complaints, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Train new staff members and provide ongoing training.
• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed during the shift.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work environment.
• Assist with inventory control, including receiving and stocking supplies.
• Communicate any issues to upper management in a timely manner.
