Job summary

The Wyndmoor Group is seeking a compassionate HHA/CNA to provide attentive geriatric care and support to residents in our community. You will observe changes and report to the supervising nurse, assist with activities of daily living, and foster a safe, respectful environment.

We value teamwork, clear communication, and a passion for elderly residents. CNA or HHA certification is required, and prior long-term care experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is required.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently.
• Must read, write, speak & understand English.
• No finding in the registry concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property.
• Foster good resident and family relationships.
• Collaborate effectively within a team.
• Passion for working with elderly residents.
• Experience in a long-term or assisted living facility is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report changes in patient's condition to the supervising nurse.
• Assist with geriatric care needs.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living according to individual care plans.
• Observes residents and reports to nursing any changes in physical, mental, and emotional condition.
• Communicates and interacts in a professional, respectful, and hospitable manner.
