Job summary

Lutheran Senior Services is seeking compassionate CNAs to provide daily supportive care in a resident-centered environment. You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team, supporting meaningful daily activities and collaborating on care plans to enhance residents’ quality of life.

The role requires current CNA certification in MO or IL, or enrollment in PA, and strong communication with residents. Prior direct care experience is preferred, with opportunities to grow within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Missouri: Current CNA certification.
• Illinois: Current CNA certification.
• Pennsylvania: Enrollment, or eligibility for enrollment within 120 days of completion of training.
• A desire to be part of a person-centered care team.
• Must be able to communicate with residents.
• Prior experience with direct patient/resident care preferable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain residents’ comfort and assist with activities of daily living.
• Respect resident dignity; support independence where possible.
• Observe residents and report changes to the nurse.
• Participate in care/service plans to improve residents' lives.
• Assist during meals and feed as needed.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and families with compassion.
• Support resident involvement in daily activities and decisions.
• Assist with therapies and treatments under licensed staff.
• Document care provided in clinical records.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment.
