Lutheran Senior Services is seeking caregivers to support seniors with daily living activities in a compassionate, person-centered environment. You will assist with ADLs, meals, and mobility while reporting changes to licensed staff.

The role requires Missouri or Illinois CNA certification, with PA registry enrollment considered within 120 days. A caring team and community-focused setting await.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification required in Missouri.
• Current CNA certification required in Illinois.
• Enrollment or eligibility for PA CNA registry within 120 days of training completion.
• Candidate should communicate effectively with residents.
• Prior experience with direct patient/resident care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains residents’ comfort and provides ADL care.
• Assists with personal care needs while promoting independence.
• Monitors residents for changing needs and reports to the nurse.
• Participates in care/service plans to improve residents’ lives.
• Assists with mealtimes and feeds residents needing full assistance.
• Builds meaningful relationships with residents and families with compassion.
• Encourages resident involvement in daily activities and decisions.
• Assists with therapies and treatments under licensed staff guidance.
• Documents care provided in clinical records.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and compliant environment.
