Job summary

Lutheran Senior Services seeks a compassionate CNA to provide daily supportive and functional care to residents in a respectful, person-centered environment. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor residents, report observations to the nurse, and help maintain residents’ dignity and independence.

This role requires current CNA certification in IL (and MO where applicable) and a commitment to teamwork.

Qualifications

• IL: CNA certification required.
• MO: CNA certification required.
• PA: Enrollment or eligibility within 120 days of training completion on PA Nurse Aide Registry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain residents’ comfort and provide ADL assistance according to scope of practice.
• Report observations to the nurse and participate in care/service planning.
• Assist with feeding and mealtime activities as needed.
• Maintain residents’ dignity and independence; encourage self-care where possible.
• Document care provided in clinical records and ensure accuracy.
