Job summary

Lutheran Senior Services is seeking CNAs to provide compassionate daily living assistance in a senior care setting in Missouri and Illinois. You will support residents with activities of daily living, monitor conditions, and document care under licensed staff.

Candidates should hold Missouri or Illinois CNA certification or PA registry enrollment and have good communication skills. Flexible shifts and a benefits package are available.

Qualifications

• Missouri: Current CNA certification.
• Illinois: Current CNA certification.
• PA: Enrollment or eligibility for enrollment within 120 days of completing training on the PA Nurse Aide Registry.
• Desire to be part of a person-centered care team.
• Must be able to communicate with residents; prior direct patient/resident care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains residents’ comfort; provides basic care and helps with daily living activities.
• Assists with residents’ personal care needs and supports independence.
• Observes residents and reports changes to the nurse.
• Participates in residents’ care/service plans to improve quality of life.
• Assists during mealtimes and with feeding when needed.
• Creates meaningful relationships with residents and families with compassion.
• Supports residents’ involvement in daily activities and decisions.
• Assists with therapies and treatments under licensed staff.
• Documents care provided in clinical records.
• Keeps environment clean and safe.

PA Nurse Aide Registry enrollment (PA registry enrollment within 120 days)
