Job summary

San Antonio North Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care and services to residents per care plans. You will identify residents, monitor conditions, document accurately, and maintain confidentiality while working under supervision. CPR is preferred.

The role emphasizes safe transfers, patient comfort, and collaboration with nursing staff to ensure quality care and timely reporting of changes in health status.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, an 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with laws of the state.
• CPR Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care and services to assigned residents as per care plans.
• Identify residents before administering treatments or meals using wristband/photo card.
• Report changes in residents' condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, charts in a descriptive manner.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and report any unauthorized disclosures.
