Job summary

Jade Financial is seeking a Nursing Care Assistant to support the Charge Nurse in providing high-quality care to residents. You will work under supervision to perform assigned tasks, ensure compassionate care, and collaborate with other departments to meet resident needs.

The role requires adherence to policies, participation in training, and timely reporting of resident changes to the Charge Nurse. Strong communication and basic computer skills are essential for daily documentation and care

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• Must possess the ability to use a computer with a degree of proficiency.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with staff, residents, family members, visitors, government representatives, and the general public.

Responsibilities

• Report promptly and as scheduled to Charge Nurse for shift report.
• Perform all assigned tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures and as instructed by your Charge Nurse.
• Ensure that residents/families receive the highest quality of nursing service and help provide a caring and compassionate atmosphere at all times.
• Follow and complete all resident care assignments.
• Report all uncompleted assignments to Charge Nurse.
• Cooperate with inter‑departmental personnel to ensure that all services are adequately maintained and provided in order to meet the needs of the residents.
• Attend all scheduled training programs including initial orientation as well as annual and required training programs.
• Follow established procedures for accurately identifying residents prior to administering care and treatment.
• Ensure the timely and prompt reporting of all resident related accidents, incidents, falls and changes in condition to your Charge Nurse.
