Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Napa, CA is seeking a licensed CNA to provide routine nursing care under supervision. You will ensure high-quality resident care in accordance with policies and directions from the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses or Administrator.

Responsibilities include resident rounds, ID verification, bed making, and assisting with daily living activities, while maintaining compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must have a CNA license.
• Minimum 6 months CNA experience or clinical CNA class.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Ability to deal tactfully with residents, families and staff.
• In good health with emotional stability.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with others.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies, procedures and safety rules.
• Make rounds at shift start and every two hours to provide care.
• Verify resident ID before care or meals to ensure correct recipient.
• Report missing ID bands to admission coordinator immediately.
• Make beds and clean bedside/overbed tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are clean, filled and accessible.
• Other related duties as directed by supervisors.
