Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed CNA in the state.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care in accordance with the resident’s care plan and supervision.
• Record all entries on flow sheets, notes, charts in an informative and descriptive manner.
• Report changes in the resident’s condition to the Charge Nurse/Nurse Supervisor promptly.
• Weigh residents and monitor vital signs per plan of care; document findings.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and preparing for meals.
• Attend shift change reports and participate in care planning and staff development activities.
• Follow infection prevention and control procedures and maintain clean, safe care environments.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge functions as needed.
• Support exams and procedures by preparing residents and escorting them to appointments.
