Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Nurse Aide in Orange, VA to provide direct resident care under supervision. The role reports to nursing leadership and requires ADL assistance, vital signs, and documenting care in EMR or paper charts.

You will help prepare residents for meals and maintain a safe, clean environment in a licensed facility. Qualifications include a high school diploma (or equivalent) and a Virginia Nurse Aide certification.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Current, valid Nurse Aide certification issued by the Virginia Department of Health Professions.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and assistance with ADLs to residents as needed.
• Report changes in resident condition to supervisor immediately.
• Obtain vital signs and record as directed.
• Review Daily Assignments at shift start and note changes.
• Record all care provided in EMR or paper chart.
• Prepare residents for meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Maintain tidiness and safety in resident rooms.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
• Welcome new residents to ensure a comfortable transition.
• Communicate with and engage residents in activities.
