Job summary

Alden Estates of Evanston is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to provide daily nursing care to residents in accordance with federal, state, and local standards. You will assist with activities of daily living and follow care plans under the supervision of licensed nurses.

The role requires completion of an accredited nurse aide program, a high school diploma or GED, and CPR certification (or within two weeks). Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma/certificate from an accredited nurse training program.
• Must be at least 16 years old with good moral character.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Current CPR certificate or obtain within two weeks of employment.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Willingness to work with ill, disabled and elderly residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily nursing care to residents according to standards and policies.
• Assist with activities of daily living as directed by nursing staff.
• Maintain safety and comfort of residents and report concerns to nurses.
