Job summary

Cox Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant to provide resident care per policies and procedures. The role emphasizes maintaining residents' quality of care and life, documenting care activities, and participating in in-service programs.

Responsibilities include infection control, timely response to call lights, respecting privacy and dignity, and effective communication with residents, families, staff, and management. Other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an approved CNA training program.
• Must have passed competency examinations for CNA.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents to maintain and improve quality of care and life.
• Provide, complete, and document resident care in a timely and accurate manner.
• Attend facility in-service programs.
• Practice infection control in all aspects of resident care.
• Report changes of condition to charge nurse.
• Respond to resident calls and requests promptly.
• Observe residents' rights including privacy and dignity.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff and management.
• Assist residents for social functions and meals per plan of care.
• Perform other duties as needed by residents.
