Qualifications

• Must hold a license as a certified nursing assistant.
• Minimum 6 months experience as a CNA or clinical CNA exposure.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to deal tactfully with residents, families, visitors and staff.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm.
• Must be in good general health and emotionally stable.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and safety rules.
• Make resident rounds at the start of each shift and every two hours.
• Verify resident identification before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to admission coordinator immediately.
• Make beds and clean bedside/overbed tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are cleaned, filled, and within resident reach.
• Other related duties as directed by supervisory staff.
