Job summary

Providence Alaska Medical Center is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to support bedside care under supervision, ensuring a safe environment and clear communication with the RN and Charge Nurse. You will assist in delivering patient-centered care and maintaining cleanliness and safety during shifts.

Must have Alaska CNA certification, completed medical terminology course, and BLS certification within required timelines.

Qualifications

• Completed training program for Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) or equivalent.
• Completion of Medical Terminology course or hospital med terminology test within 90 days of hire.
• Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
• BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a safe and secure environment for patients, families and providers, communicating needs between the patient, RN and Charge Nurse and completing delegated duties for the shift.
