Job summary

Bethesda Southgate is seeking a compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant to support patient care under the Charge Nurse. You will document in records, assist with hygiene, nutrition, mobility, and safety, and respond promptly to call lights during shifts.

This full-time role includes benefits such as medical/dental/vision, 403b, daily pay, holiday pay, and opportunities for career advancement. CNA certification and ability to lift 200+ lbs are preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, visitors, and staff.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift heavy objects using proper lifting techniques with assistance when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care related to hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination, and safety.
• Documents appropriately into patient records and reports to Charge Nurse.
• Turns and repositions residents every 2 hours, assists with transfers and mobility.
