Job summary

Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, WA seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate, direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, perform EKGs, and support safe patient care within the Team Medicine framework.

You will report patient conditions promptly, use basic PC tools, and participate in ongoing competency training.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant program or LPN training.
• Current CNA certification or WA NA-C exam eligibility, or WA LPN licensure.
• Current CPR certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and basic hygiene.
• Take vital signs, perform EKGs, and monitor glucose as directed.
• Observe patient conditions and report changes to the RN.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, compassionate care.
