Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate basic care under RN direction. You will support patient comfort, hygiene, mobility, and safety, while contributing to the patient's plan of care as a key member of the interdisciplinary team.

This role requires completion of an accredited CNA program, WA CNA certification, CPR/BLS, and a commitment to dignity and high-quality care. Prior hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant program, upon hire
• WA Certified Nursing Assistant certification, upon hire
• Basic Life Support - CPR certification, upon hire
• Military medical specialty training, upon hire (if applicable)

Responsibilities

• Provides patient personal care/hygiene and physical comfort.
• Assists with mobility, feeding, bathing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Transports patients and prepares equipment for procedures.
• Monitors patient condition and reports changes to RN; documents care.
