Americare Senior Living in Chanute, KS is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide hands-on resident care in our skilled nursing community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Valid CNA certification in the state of employment.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Assist with transfers and mobility; support safe patient handling.
• Observe and report changes in resident conditions.
• Support restorative nursing and therapy activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, homelike environment.
• Report accidents or safety concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team.
• Follow safety procedures and use required equipment.
