Job summary

Samaritan Summit Village in the United States is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a part-time night shift. You will assist with direct resident care, perform vital signs, help with activities, and maintain accurate documentation of care provided.

Candidates should have completed a CNA program, hold NYS CNA certification or be eligible, and be comfortable working in a busy long-term care setting. BLS is preferred. This is an onsite role with a 40-hour week potential.

Qualifications

• One year or more experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant preferable.
• Computer experience preferred.
• Ability to write legibly and document care accurately.
• Familiar with equipment used to move residents and take vital signs.

Responsibilities

• Care for residents and assist with daily tasks.
• Maintain residents' rooms, bed making, linen disposal.
• Wash hands and face, assist with personal care.
• Assist ambulatory residents and document observations.
• Communicate information to supervisor and co-workers.
