Job summary

Qualifications

• One year or more experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant preferable.
• Computer experience preferred.
• BLS certification preferred.
• New York State Department of Health Certification or eligible for certification as a Long Term Care Nursing Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Care for residents and assist with daily activities.
• Maintain resident rooms, bed making and linen handling.
• Assist with hygiene, nail and hair care, trays and fluids.
• Document basic resident observations clearly and legibly.
• Move residents with equipment and take vital signs as needed.
