Job summary

Samaritan Summit Village is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our care team on the 3rd floor SNF. Minimum one year CNA experience and NYS certification (or eligible) are preferred. Computer skills are advantageous and BLS certification is preferred.

Responsibilities include resident care, assisting with activities, and maintaining accurate care documentation. The role requires teamwork, tact, and the ability to work under stress in a high-demand setting.

Qualifications

• One year or more experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
• Computer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily care and activities.
• Make beds and keep resident rooms tidy.
• Wash resident hands/face; assist with nails, hair, and meals.
• Document basic observations and care provided; maintain charts.
• Record vital signs and move residents using proper equipment.
