Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living LLC in Ridgefield, CT is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team for a part-time 2nd shift (3pm–11pm). You will deliver resident care in a warm, home-like environment and assist with activities of daily living. A valid CNA/HHA/LNA license is required.

Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living setting is preferred, and dementia care experience is a plus. We offer paid training, holidays, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living setting is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working with residents with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Documenting care provided and reporting changes in resident health or behavior to staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Using customer service skills to ensure residents receive compassionate and meaningful care.
