Job summary

Pearl Healthcare in Belvidere, IL, is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our care team. The CNA will support residents in daily living activities and help ensure health, safety and comfort under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Completes charge and inventory slips; monitors supply inventory daily and cleans instruments/equipment.
• Maintain resident stability by checking vital signs and weight; record intake and output information.
• Provide for resident comfort by attending call lights/requests; report observations to nursing supervisor.
• Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Protect privacy and dignity by keeping patient information confidential; comply with HIPAA and related laws.
• Adhere to professional standards, company policies and procedures, and all federal, state, and local requirements, including JCAHO standards.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients.
• Clinical management of the patient.
