Qualifications

• Illinois CNA certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Completes charge and inventory slips; monitors supply inventory daily and maintains instruments.
• Maintain resident stability by checking vital signs and weight; records intake and output.
• Provide resident comfort by responding to call lights and requests; report observations to nursing supervisor.
• Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Protect privacy by keeping patient information confidential; comply with HIPAA and related laws.
• Adhere to professional standards, policies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., JCAHO).
• Maintain a safe environment for patients.
• Clinical management of patient care.
