Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of experience as a Nurse's Aide preferred.
• Technical skills required for patient care.
• Good oral communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Speaks, reads and writes English to the extent required by the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care responsibilities appropriate to patient ages.
• Take and record TPR, blood pressure; report deviations to nurse.
• Obtain specimens as assigned (urine, stool, sputum).
• Weigh patient and record weight; assist with activities of daily living.
• Record intake/output and perform treatments as assigned.
• Communicate with Charge/Primary Nurse regarding patient needs.
