Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of experience as a nurse’s aide preferred.
• Minimum one year as a certified nurse aide in long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care with appropriate knowledge of patient growth and development.
• Take and record vital signs and report deviations to the Primary or Charge Nurse.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and ambulation.

Skills

Technical skill in patient care

Good oral and interpersonal communication skills

Proficiency in English for reading, writing, speaking

Education

Successful completion of an approved Nurse’s Aide training course

Heart Saver certification from the American Heart Association

BLS certification
