Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a long-term care setting. Provides direct personal care and supports residents with daily living activities under supervision of a licensed nurse.

The role emphasizes resident dignity, safety and accurate documentation of care, vital signs, and monitoring changes in condition. Prior CNA and BLS certification required; Alaska licensure preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CNA certification and BLS certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility.
• Assist with meal service, feeding and hydration and document intake.
• Take and record vital signs and weights as directed by the licensed nurse.
• Observe residents for changes in physical or behavioral condition and report promptly to the charge nurse.
• Use proper transfer, lifting and positioning techniques to maintain resident and staff safety.
• Document care provided and follow infection control and safety policies.
