Good Samaritan in West Union, IA is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in our long-term care setting. You will support daily living activities under the supervision of an RN, monitor vital signs, and help residents with mobility and personal care. Required CNAs with state certification and age 18+.

Prior long-term care experience preferred; competency testing and CE credits required. Shifts vary; PRN schedule.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Minimum age 18.
• Prior long-term care or CNA experience preferred.
• CNA certification required; facility provides training.
• QMAP certification may be required in applicable states.
• 12+ hours of continuing education annually.
• May be registered with local UAP registry where applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with transfers, positioning, and mobility using proper technique.
• Support meals, dining experience, and resident comfort.
• Document interactions, report changes to RN or charge nurse.
• Assist with wellness and recreational activities as needed.

18 years of age

CNA certification

QMAP certification (Colorado)
