Job summary

Bruce McCandless Veterans Community Living Center in Florence, CO is seeking a dedicated CNA to join the nursing team. Qualifications

• BLS/CPR certification current and valid.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, hands-on nursing care to residents according to standards and policies.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, and mobility.
• Document care provided in EMR/EHR and communicate care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Monitor vital signs, weight/height, and report changes to nursing staff.
• Mentor new hires and aide staff; transport residents for medical appointments as needed.
