Job summary

Advanced Health Care of Colorado Springs is seeking a compassionate CNA to provide direct resident care and support in a skilled nursing setting. You will assist with activities of daily living, mobility, nutrition, and daily documentation under licensed supervision.

The role emphasizes empathy, patient-centered care, and teamwork, with PRN, Weekdays, and Weekend shifts. Training and education opportunities are provided to maintain certification and enhance geriatric care skills.

Qualifications

• Current Colorado CNA certification.
• Experience in skilled nursing or similar medical setting preferred.
• Ability to build rapport with residents with compassion.
• Commitment to high-quality, resident-centered care with empathy.
• Strong clinical skills in assessment and care planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents under supervision of licensed staff (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding).
• Assist with mobility and transfers using proper lifting techniques.
• Monitor vital signs and intake/output; report changes to nursing team.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges; orient new residents.
• Support residents in social/rec activities and provide companionship.
• Maintain clean, organized living environment and infection control.
• Assist with dining services and record food/fluid intake as directed.
• Document care and observations in facility records.
• Participate in training to maintain CNA verification and geriatric knowledge.
