Job summary

All Ways Caring HomeCare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our compassionate team serving Morganton and surrounding North Carolina locations. You will assist nurses with basic patient care, dress, bathe, feed, and monitor vital signs, while promoting dignity and independence in various care settings.

Requires CNA certification and ability to lift up to 75 lbs; valid driver's license preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
• CNA certification as required by state licensure.
• Completion of a recognized home care aide training program or 6 months of recent experience as an aide.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform activity like sitting, standing, bending, and walking.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses with basic care activities essential to patient comfort and personal needs.
• Dress, groom, bathe, feed patients and record vital signs.
• Respond to call lights, assist in toileting, oral/nail/catheter care and mobility aids.
• Provide simple or uncomplicated patient care within Standards of Practice.
• Clean rooms, change bed linens, note medication administration as directed by Physician or Nurse.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
