Job summary

All Ways Caring HomeCare in Lenoir, NC seeks a compassionate CNA/Home Health Aide to support nurses with basic patient care tasks, monitor vitals, and assist with daily activities in home health, hospice, or private duty settings.

Responsibilities include lifting, positioning, and documenting care as directed, with a focus on safety and comfort for each patient. Valid CNA certification and driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Certification as CNA or Home Health Care Aide as required by state licensure.
• Completion of a recognized home care aide training program or 6 months of recent experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists nurses by performing basic care activities for personal needs and comfort.
• Dresses, grooms, bathes, feeds, and records vital signs.
• Responds to call lights; assists in toileting, oral care, and mobility.
• Transports patients and turns bedridden patients; reports any changes.
• Gives medications as directed by Physician or Nurse; notes timing and amounts.
• Cleans rooms, changes bed linens, and maintains patient safety and comfort.
