Job summary

All Ways Caring HomeCare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team in North Carolina locations including Maggie Valley. You will assist nurses with basic care, help patients with daily activities, and document vital signs and medications under supervision.

The role requires CNA/Home Health Aide certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Opportunities to work across home health, hospice and private duty settings are available.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
Certification as CNA/Home Health Aide in the state of practice.
Completion of a recognized home care aide training program or at least 6 months of recent experience as an aide.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and to sit, stand, bend, stoop, push, pull and reach as required.

Responsibilities

Assist nurses by performing basic care activities for personal needs and comfort.
Dresses, grooms, bathes, feeds, and records vital signs.
Respond to call lights and assist with toileting, oral care, nail care, catheter care, and mobility.
Provide simple or uncomplicated patient care under Standards of Practice.
Clean rooms, change bed linen, and document medications as directed by physician or nurse.
