Job summary

Livingston Place Assisted Living in Washington, DC, seeks compassionate Personal Care Aides for full-time or part-time roles. You will support residents’ daily needs, assist during meals, and help with activities, under supervision of nursing staff.

Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma, a DC CNA/Home Health Certification, CPR/First Aid, and English proficiency. This position is on-call PRN with full benefits and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of relevant care experience preferred.
• Current CNA or Home Health Certification from Washington DC.
• Valid CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Assists with all care needs a resident might require.
• Maintains confidentiality of resident and staff information.
• Notifies nurse on duty or Director of Nursing of changes in condition.
• Assists in the dining room during meals and serves residents.
• Helps residents attend scheduled activities and get to appointments.
• Reports any change of condition to supervising staff promptly.
• Capable of taking vital signs and weights.
