Job summary

Family Life care is seeking dedicated CNAs and HHAs to provide compassionate in-home care to patients in Florida. You will assist with daily activities, monitor health, prepare meals, and offer companionship in clients' homes.

The role supports a flexible schedule across various assignments, including long-term care and recovery support, to fit individual needs. The team serves a broad community, including veterans, with a focus on compassionate, professional care.

Qualifications

• Florida CNA license or 75-hour Home Health Aide Certificate from a school approved through the State of Florida.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Driver's License and Vehicle Insurance.
• Current TB test with negative results.
• Ability to pass a Level II background check.
• Previous experience in home health care or related field preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Prepare meals and ensure clients receive nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs.
• Perform patient observation to monitor changes in health status and report concerns to healthcare providers.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Maintain cleanliness in the client's living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
• Provide memory care support for clients with cognitive impairments, ensuring safety and promoting cognitive engagement.
