Job summary

• Identify residents before administering treatments or serving meals using wristbands or photo cards.
• Report changes in a resident's condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, and charts in an informative manner.
• Ensure resident room is prepared (bed made, name tags up, admission kit ready).
• Assist residents with daily functions, meals, dressing, mobility, and personal care.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information and report unauthorized disclosures.
• Follow facility policies on exposure to blood/body fluids and incident reporting.
• Provide a calm, warm environment and participate in nursing handoffs and shift reports.
