Job summary

Methuen Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care in the Medical-Surgical Acute Care Unit, assisting with daily living activities and basic nursing tasks under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, completion of a CNA program, and current BLS certification; RN student with clinical rotations is acceptable.

Experience with Meditech is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of a certified nursing assistant program.
• CNA certification or current RN student with two clinical rotations completed.
• Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living and delivers basic nursing care in the Medical-Surgical Acute Care Unit.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and organized environment under the supervision of a registered nurse.
