Job summary

Methuen Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care in the Medical-Surgical Acute Care Unit, assisting with daily living activities and basic nursing tasks under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, completion of a CNA program, and current BLS certification; RN student with clinical rotations is acceptable.

Experience with Meditech is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of a certified nursing assistant program.
• CNA certification or current RN student with two clinical rotations completed.
• Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association BLS required.

Supports the maintenance of a safe, clean, and organized environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse responsible for the team and/or unit.

Requirements:

• Education: High School graduate or equivalent. Successful completion of certified nursing assistant program.
• Certification/Licensure:
  • CNA certification or current RN student with documentation of completion of two clinical rotations.
  • Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association BLS required.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of related work experience preferred.
• Software/Hardware: Experience with Meditech is preferred.
