Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CPR certification required; CPR/BLS is expected within 30 days of hire if not certified.
• Must meet at least one: 1 year nursing assistant experience, CNA certification, MRMC nursing assistant training, or equivalent.
• Substitution of education and experience may be considered where appropriate.

Responsabilités

• Direct patient care under RN/LPN supervision and maintain patient safety.
• Equipment management: retrieve and clean equipment; follow unit protocols.
• Accurate documentation of intake, output, vital signs, and care in the EMR.
• Practice infection control and ensure a clean, safe environment.
• Assist with transportation and specimen handling per MRMC standards.
• Educate and precept new nursing assistants per department guidelines.
• Demonstrate age-specific communication and care for diverse patient populations.
