Creative Solutions in Healthcare - South is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team in Texas. You will support residents with daily living activities, assist with personal care, and collaborate with nurses to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
Responsibilities include documenting vitals and meal intake, assisting with mobility, and encouraging engagement through activities.
Qualifications
- Holds a current Nursing Assistant Certification from the State of Texas.
- Can accurately record information and perform technical procedures.
- Communicates well and demonstrates self‑discipline and patience.
- Genuinely cares for the elderly and individuals with disabilities.
- Understands and upholds the Patient Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities.
- Follows all safety policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide Personal Care: Assist with grooming, bathing, pericare, and dressing.
- Maintain Resident Environment: Change linens and stock supplies.
- Support Mobility: Safely ambulate and transfer residents with assistive devices.
- Record Vital Information: Document vitals, weights, intake/output, and meals.
- Assist with Positioning: Turn and reposition residents for comfort and safety.
- Encourage Engagement: Lead ROM exercises and provide reality orientation as directed.
