Qualifications

• Must hold a current Nursing Assistant Certification from the State of Texas.
• Ability to accurately record information and perform technical procedures.
• Excellent communication, self-discipline and patience in all interactions.
• Cares for the elderly and individuals with disabilities with respect and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personal Care: grooming, bathing, catheter care, pericare, dressing per policy.
• Maintain Resident Environment: change linens, stock supplies.
• Support Mobility: assist with ambulation and transfers using safe technique.
• Record Vital Information: document vitals, weights, intake/output, meals.
• Assist with Positioning: turn and reposition residents for comfort and safety.
• Encourage Engagement: lead range of motion exercises and provide orientation as directed.
