Job summary

Regency at Whitmore Lake in Whitmore Lake, MI is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to care for residents under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. You’ll assist with activities of daily living, help maintain a safe, comfortable environment, and support individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• CNA certification required per state.
• Criminal background check per state and federal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, incontinent care as applicable, oral hygiene and feeding.
• Measure and record vital signs, weight and intake/output as directed.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers and positioning using proper body mechanics and lift equipment.
• Respond to call lights and report observations to licensed nursing staff.
• Support residents’ independence and dignity while ensuring safety and comfort.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation per facility procedures.
• Follow infection control, safety and universal precautions at all times.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
