Regency at Troy in Troy, MI is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to care for residents under supervision. The role focuses on assisting with daily living activities, maintaining a safe environment, and supporting licensed nurses in delivering individualized care.

Formación

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing.
• State-approved CNA training and competency examination.
• Background check compliance as required by state and facility policies.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct resident care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, incontinent care as applicable, oral hygiene and feeding.
• Measure and record vital signs, weight, intake/output as directed.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper body mechanics and lift equipment.
• Respond promptly to call lights, resident needs, and changes in condition; report observations to licensed nursing staff.
• Support residents’ independence and dignity, while ensuring safety and comfort.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility procedures.
• Follow infection control, safety, and universal precautions at all times.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive living environment.
• Maintains a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
• Contributes to the residents’ assessment (MDS/CAA’s) and the plan of care.
