Job summary

Regency on the Lake is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants to join our on-site Michigan facility. We offer full-time and part-time positions with competitive pay and a benefits package, including health coverage and a 401K plan.

As a CNA, you will care for residents under supervision, assisting with ADLs, mobility, and daily living tasks while ensuring safety and comfort in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a State Tested Nursing Assistant in good standing or graduate of a state approved nursing assistant program and pass a state approved competency exam within 120 days of employment.
• Meets all state and federal criminal background check requirements.
• CNA certification/registration is required as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
• Measure and record vital signs and intake/output as directed.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning with proper body mechanics.
• Respond promptly to calls and report observations to licensed nursing staff.
• Support residents’ independence and dignity while maintaining safety.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation per facility procedures.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions at all times.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment and perform routine rounds.
• Assist with dementia resident care and observe behavioral symptoms.
