Job summary

Valley View Post Acute in El Monte, CA, is seeking a dedicated CNA for a full-time 7-3 shift in our healthcare unit. You will provide routine daily nursing care and support to residents according to care plans, ensuring comfort and safety.

Must have a valid CNA license; CPR preferred. You will follow facility policies, document actions, and assist with activities of daily living, monitoring residents, and communicating changes to nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Certified Nursing Assistant license in accordance with state laws.
• Ability to read, interpret and follow care plans and policies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before administering treatments or meals using wristband/photo ID.
• Record entries on flow sheets and charts in a descriptive manner.
• Report changes in residents' conditions to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information and report any disclosures.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and prepare for medical tests.
• Observe skin integrity and report any pressure areas or ulcers.
• Follow facility policies and cooperate with staff to ensure quality nursing services.
