Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year in an acute or long-term care setting preferred.
• Completion of a CNA training program preferred.
• Current New Mexico Certified Nursing Assistant Certification required.
• BLS - required within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care to patients.
• Monitors patients and collects information to be documented in the medical record.
• Perform bedside testing as necessary.
• Deliver patient food trays and other nourishment; transport to laboratory and imaging as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of unit, equipment and work area; inventory supplies.
