Job summary

Qualifications

• Education – Associate Degree in Nursing or Diploma; required.
• License – Current New Mexico RN license or RN with Multistate Compact.
• BLS required; ACLS and PALS required or within 90 days of employment; TNCC/ENPC preferred.
• Experience – 1 year of relevant nursing experience; graduates considered based on availability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, evaluation.
• Educate patients and families with timely health information and provide written materials.
• Perform direct patient care following established policies and standards.
• Demonstrate empathy, protect confidentiality, and communicate respectfully.
• Assist in orientation/training of new staff.
• Support other team members in assignments as needed.
• Adapt to staffing variations and volunteer for open shifts.
• Take action to cross-train and ensure seamless patient care.
• Use sound judgment when addressing questionable findings or concerns.
